Shell Begins Production at Stones in Gulf of Mexico

Royal Dutch Shell in September said that it started production from the Stones development in the Gulf of Mexico.
Stones is expected to produce around 50,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day when fully ramped up at the end of 2017.
The project is located about 200 miles southwest of New Orleans at a water depth of 9,500 feet.
