Prentice talks about how much time is involved with working with the state on pre-construction items like air quality permits, water permits and other regulations.  Prentice said because of their groundbreaking work on the Davis Refinery and the environment, they are one of the few energy companies who are content with regulations.

Spiess is the host of two radio programs, Building the Bakken and Coffee & Capitalism, and three specialty programs, MonDak OilField Review, Corporate Ink and UnStuck, that carry a radio network that spans five states and two countries. Spiess is a North Dakota native and graduated from North Dakota State University.
